Kathis Shoes attaches great importance to quality and craftsmanship. Our entire collection is manufactured in a family-run factory in Le Marche, Italy. From the very beginning, it was important to Kathi to know her producers and suppliers personally and to be involved in the production process side by side. We source materials and components mainly from regional suppliers and partly from Germany in order to maintain personal relationships with our partners. Kathi is regularly on site to supervise production and continuously optimise it in close collaboration with the team. Our designs combine elegance and high quality and set standards for women's shoes in plus sizes.

All models and components have to be developed from scratch, as they are often not available in larger sizes. Completely new fits had to be created that both fulfil the requirements of larger feet and preserve the feminine silhouette. This was a particular challenge for sandals and feminine shoes, as both aesthetics and comfort had to be taken into account.

For shoe sizes over 41, there were no existing heel shapes on the market that met the requirements of comfort, stability and elegance. Metal moulds therefore had to be built especially for Kathis Shoes to create the ideal heels. This mould language is essential for the stability and style of the sandals and ensures that they remain comfortable even when worn for long periods of time.

Each pair of Kathis Shoes is the result of a close collaboration between numerous suppliers and components. Every component - from the leather to the lining to the soles - is carefully selected to meet the high standards required. This applies not only to the materials themselves, but also to the processing techniques that ensure that the shoes have a long service life.
