Statutory right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reasons.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier took possession of the goods - in the case of several goods: the last goods.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send us (KATHIS, Katharina Rühl, Kaiserstr. 9, 55116 Mainz , shop@kathis-shoes.com) a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) about your decision to revoke this contract. You can use the attached sample cancellation form, although this is not mandatory.

In order to meet the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of revocation

If you cancel this contract, we will have to pay you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from you choosing a method of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us and in the case of a partial revocation only if we have charged separately stated shipping costs for the revoked part of the contract), must be repaid immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your revocation of this contract. For this repayment we use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless something different was expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees as a result of this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen day period has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the goods.

Voluntary return policy

In addition to the legal right of withdrawal described above, KATHIS grants you the right to withdraw from the contract without giving reasons by returning the goods purchased from us within 28 days. The return period begins on the day after receipt of the goods.

To make use of the voluntary right of return, please return the goods within the aforementioned period to the KATHIS address specified in the return documents enclosed with the delivery or hand them in there. Timely dispatch or timely delivery to KATHIS's business premises is sufficient to meet the deadline.

The prerequisite for the voluntary right of return is that the goods are in perfect condition when returned. We therefore reserve the right, at our own discretion, to refuse to take back goods if they do not reach us including all components (e.g. boxes and protective bags for shoes), if the goods are not in their original condition (e.g. if labels, Protective films etc. have been removed from the goods) or if the goods have deteriorated. If we nevertheless take back returned goods, we are entitled to demand compensation from you in an appropriate amount and to set this off against any purchase price payment that has already been made.
